Prospecting

The Prospecting section helps you find and manage potential business leads including manufacturers, carriers, and shippers.

Manufacturer Prospects

Discover and track manufacturer prospects to grow your freight volume.

How to use it

  1. Navigate to Prospecting → Manufacturers
  2. Browse prospects on the split-panel map layout
  3. Click a prospect to view details in the side panel
  4. Use filters to narrow by location, industry, or status
  5. Update prospect status as you make contact

Carrier Prospects

Find and evaluate potential carriers for your brokerage operations.

How to use it

  1. Navigate to Prospecting → Carriers
  2. Browse carrier prospects on the map
  3. Review carrier details, equipment types, and service areas
  4. Track outreach status and follow-ups

Other Shipper Prospects

Manage prospects from other shipper categories beyond manufacturers.

How to use it

  1. Navigate to Prospecting → Other Shippers
  2. Browse and filter shipper prospects
  3. View prospect locations on the map
  4. Track sales pipeline progress

CSV Import

Bulk-import prospect data from spreadsheets or external sources.

How to use it

  1. Prepare a CSV file with prospect data (name, address, phone, etc.)
  2. Navigate to the prospect type page (Manufacturers, Carriers, or Other Shippers)
  3. Click Import CSV
  4. Map CSV columns to prospect fields
  5. Review the preview and confirm the import

Tip: Export your existing prospect lists from other tools as CSV files to quickly populate the TMS with your current pipeline.

Prospect Categories

Organize prospects using categories for better pipeline management.

How to use it

  1. Navigate to Prospecting → Categories
  2. Create custom categories to classify your prospects
  3. Assign categories when creating or editing prospects
  4. Filter prospect lists by category
